The discovery of an old colour dictionary in a second hand shop re-launched this long forgotten brand, first established in 1931. A treasure trove of colour and steeped in history, the book was used to standardize colours across the British Empire until the late 1950s. The names are derived and inspired from nature, flora & fauna, as well as semi-precious stones and spices.
